Rev. Marisa came to the ritual of officiating weddings organically through the guidance of a fellow officiant. A Reiki Master, yoga teacher and integrative wellness coach she has been called to hold space for others in compassionate presence.
An empath, Rev. Marisa brings deep heart connection and calming tone to each service while meeting the couples where they are, giving space for their individual stories and personalities to come through in their vows.
A writer and artist Rev. Marisa is extremely detail oriented and enjoys the process of discovering and telling the story of love and union between two people in their journey towards marriage. She believes in the power of love to heal, transform and uplift us all. She welcomes all belief systems, all individuals desiring union from any and all races, sexual orientations, and walks of life.
Rev. Marisa believes deeply in marking this special day with ritual and ceremony and is inspired to create the perfect recipe of both to honor each couple’s wishes, whether through incorporation of theistic beliefs or rituals or through non denominational practices. When not teaching or practicing yoga, you will find Marisa cooking for others and listening to lectures on compassion, and loving kindness.
